Want to be with the crowd? Consider buying in Amagansett.

Earlier this week we told you about how Montauk is sometimes referred to as the Hamptons minus the crowds. But we know that for some of you what draws you to consider purchasing a property in the Hamptons is the crowds. And that is fine because the Hamptons has a variety of neighborhoods and areas so that you can find an area that suits your needs and lifestyle.

If that is you, why not look at Amagansett–a place where many celebrities have been known to spend the summer or buy second homes. Further Lane, an area that is steps away from the ocean and home to some of East Hampton’s biggest mansions, can be found in Amagansett.

Summering in the Hamptons is a tradition that some people say started with high-level executives from Proctor & Gamble, but of course now it has moved beyond corporate executives.

Celebs like Sara Jessica Parker, Gwyneth Paltrow, Paul McCartney, Jerry Seinfeld and Christie Brinkley have been known to spend time in Amagansett. So if you get a thrill out of being near or socializing with celebrities, let Bill Williams of Sotheby’s International Realty help you find a home on Long Island. We know the Hamptons and its culture. Talk to us and we can assist you in finding the home in the Hamptons that you really want.

Send us an e-mail and we will contact you to get started.
